Perhaps there is not a more sublime experience a traveler can have anywhere than randomly meeting packs of children who are intensely curious and immediately trusting of you. The above photo illustrates one of many such groups of tykes that we would run into everywhere in Honduras, a nation that does not get a plethora of tourists, thus increasing the sense of mystery and wonder by the kids. This group is multiracial and probably could care less about one another's skin color-just like most kids everywhere whose minds have not been tainted by their parent's shameful prejudices.
